Never knew that I could be simultaneously overwhelmed whilst being completely underwhelmed.

It wasn't all for naught as I was completely blown away by one piece there...

This sucker is made out of metallized reclaimed lumber. Wholly impressive when considering the process of plating something non-metallic. This sucker was most likely bathed in Nickel or Copper before it could get the Silver! My guess is, this is why it is named Periodic?
Knowing that this is not an easy process (plating most things is not) I had to ask the price point...
Somewhere around $45,000.00.
And now you know.

yay you went. i completely agree with your assessment of the show. it's hardly worth it if it weren't for that one piece you actually liked. welcome to the world of design assholes and their bullshit. that table is rad btw.
